We live in a time where Islam and Muslims are the source of much controversy. Despite, having such a long tradition in the United Kingdom, the Muslim community are increasingly isolated and polarized from the wider society. As a super hero, I come across many many distress calls from Muslims, due to being attacked, dis...criminated against and genuinely made to live in fear, and from Non Muslims, due to not knowing who their Muslim neighbors are and having an enormous amount of fear of a clash of civilizations the news alerts them to. This seems so bizarre, and it seems all both communities need to do, is sit down, and have a chicken tikka masala and realize just how much in common they have, and why they do not need to fear one another. My consciousness of this, led me to use my spidy sense to search out any brothers and sisters who were eager to do some good, engage society and showcase the beauty of Islam, with honesty and integrity. Within seconds I identified the Mercy Mission team working on an innovative project to raise awareness of Islam and the Muslims and do so in an approachable way, and thus I signed up as a volunteer, and it is brill. There is a cool project to: • Distribute 10,000 packs of dates across the UK to the general public through city centre events. • Cater for up to 5000 People (Muslim & Non Muslim) to break fast together In the UK`s 3 major largest cities. • Distribute toys at Royal Manchester Children`s Hospital for Eid Ul Fitr with celebrity support. • Billboard 3 famous high streets with the Ahadith of The Messenger of Allah, Upon Whom Be Peace. • Decorate 150 buses with The Ahadith of The Messenger of Allah, Upon Whom Be Peace And is that not cool, boys and girls? What chapter(s) and verses are included in Juz 4?: The fourth juz of the Quran starts from verse 93 of the third chapter (Al Imran 93) and continues to verse 23 of the fourth chapter (An Nisaa 23). When were the verses of this juz revealed?: The verses of this section were largely revealed in the early years after the migration to Madinah, as the Muslim community was setting up its first social and political center. Much of this section relates directly to the defeat of Muslim community at the Battle of Uhud in the third year after the migration. Select Quotations: And hold fast, together, by the Rope which Allah stretches out for you, and be not divided among yourselves. And remember with gratitude favor of Allah on you. For you were enemies, and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, you became brethren. And you were on the brink of the Pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make His Signs clear to you, that you may be guided. 3:103 O you who believe! Persevere with patience and constancy. Vie in such perseverance. Strengthen each other, and fear Allah, that you may prosper. 3:200 What is the main theme of this juz?: The mid-portion of Surah Al-Imran discusses the relationship between Muslims and the People of the Book (i.e. Christians and Jews). The Quran points out similarities between those who follow the religion of Abraham, and repeats several times that while some People of the Book are righteous, there are many who have gone astray. Muslims are urged to stand together for righteousness, repel evil, and hold together in unity. The remainder of Surah Al-Imran points out lessons to be learned from the Battle of Uhud, which was an extremely disappointing loss to the Muslim community. During this battle, Allah tested the believers and it became clear who was selfish or cowardly, and who was patient and disciplined. Believers are urged to seek forgiveness for their weaknesses, and not to lose heart or despair. Death is a reality, and every soul will be taken at its appointed time. One should not fear death, and those who died in battle have mercy and forgiveness from Allah. The chapter ends with reassurances that victory is found through strength of Allah, and that the enemies of Allah will not prevail. The fourth chapter of the Quran (An Nisaa) then begins. The tittle of this chapter means Women, as it deals with many issues regarding women, family life, marriage, and divorce. Chronologically, the chapter also falls shortly after the Muslims defeat at the Battle of Uhud. So this first part of the chapter largely deals with practical issues resulting from that defeat -- how to care for orphans and widows from the battle, and how to divide the inheritance of those who had died. Islam is not an attack, it is life giving. We need to come close to Allah. When you feel the heat of evil around you, turn to Allah. Increase your ibadah, increase your sadaqa, increase your remembrance of Allah, come closer in the Sunnah, put Islam into your life, come closer to Allah because Allah has power over all things. You will surely be tested in your possessions and in yourselves. And you will surely hear from those who were given the Scripture before you and from those who associate others with Allah much abuse. But if you are patient and fear Allah - indeed, that is of the matters [worthy] of determination. (Interpretation of the meaning of the Quran 3:186)

Oh you who believe, whoever from amongst you turns back from his religion, Allah will bring a people whom He will love, and they will love Him. Humble towards the believers, stern towards the disbelievers, fighting in the cause of Allah, never fear the blame of the blamers, that is the grace of Allah, which He bestows upon whom He wills, and Allah is All-sufficient for His creatures needs.

Death of Abu Bakr (ra) Abu Bakr (ra) the siddiq of this ummah, he also tastes death, when he died they went in search for what he had left behind in terms of inheritance. He was the khalifah, he was the leader of the Muslim world, the gold of the dunya where under his hands. They found he had left behind a mule and two garments, he said shroud me with one of the garments and send the other and the mule to Umar Ibn Khattab and say to him; Ya Umar, O Umar, fear Allah! For you will encounter death, the like which I am experiencing. When the mule and garment reached Umar he sat weeping then said, you have made it a difficult task on those khalifahs, on those leaders that will succeed you O Aba Bakr. Ibn Al Qayyim and others amongst the Muslim scholars have mentioned that Abu Bakr (ra), he used to get up every morning with the rising of the sun to a tent on the outskirts of Medina, he walks in on one of those under his care, an old and blind women, he would sweep the floor of her home, cook her food and milk her cattle, when he would finished he would return to his home. Umar (ra) begun to say to himself, where is that Abu Bakr going, where does he go every morning? One day after Abu Bakr leaves the tent, Umar enters the tent and he says, who are you? And then the response comes, I am a blind, poor and destitute women, my husband died some time ago and I dont have any one to help me after Allah except this man who comes to my service, he said, do you know him? She said, Wallahi by Allah I dont know him. What does he do Umar said, he sweeps my floor, he cooks my meals and he milks my cattle. So he sat and he wept. In the Name of Allah, The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful, May Allah send His peace and blessings upon the most beloved of Messengers, Muhammad (SAW). So we indulge in satisfying our lusts and desires, Even if means becoming hypocrites, thieves and liars We forget the sole reason Allah created our souls. But beyond this belief in our hearts come our actions Balancing obedience to Allah and appeasing satisfactions What is a Muslim who forgets the commands of His religion? One who is blinded by Dunya, and lost all vision? Have we forgotten that we have one of two destinations? Hell is for the transgressors, and Jannah is for the patient. In this test we can enjoy ourselves, and be pleased with our lives, But the reason we live is to worship Allah, and this will not change until we die. In the sorrow and regret of the most horrific of days, We would wish to return to Dunya, only to change our ways. A Day on which we would beg Allah on our hands and our knees, Return us to this Dunya! So we can salvage our Deeds! But Nay! You have had your chances and received your warnings! But remember when you slept during the early mornings?! When you neglected Fajr, and did not keep up with your Salah? You were cheap and you were greedy, and did not pay your Zakah! You indulged in the obsession of this Dunya with the sinners, And prevented your own self the company of the winners. Who might they be, if you ask as you listen? The winners are those who answered their Lord in submission. They obeyed Allah and realized life is mission: To submit to the One who created you from clay, and to fear the most horrifying, detrimental of days These winners are the ones who enjoined in the worship of their Lord: They kept their covenant with Allah, not breaking one word. Prayer by prayer, Day by Day, Holding firmly to the Quraan, while following the Prophet s way. The best of the Muslims receive Jannah is delight. Because they fasted through the day and prayed Tahajjud through the night. They fulfilled the necessary obligations and did more, They kept their loyalty to the One who they lived and died for. Let us all reflect, as to how we may be viewed by the Sublime. Are we of the hypocrites who do not even pray on time? Of the losers who worship every nickel and dime? Of the animals who do not treat fellow Muslims with respect? Of the enemies of Allah whose commands we neglect? Are we the sinners whose own lives we will regret? Or have we devoted ourselves to pursuing Paradise? Of the Muslims whose actions are intelligent and wise? Of the noble who tell only truth with no lies? Of the pious who pray every prayer on time? Let us Never forget our aim for Paradise, We must worship Allah, through all of the sacrifice. For those who fall short, Jahannam is their destination. Allahs Judgement is most Supreme, and His is the best of legislation. So Ya Allah! We beg of you to guide us the straight path! And we seek refuge with Your mercy from the torment of Your wrath! Ya RABB! Grant us patience and let us die in submission! Let us realize and succeed in the struggles of lifes mission! We are for You and to You we return, So grant us refuge from Hellfire s burn! Grant us the peak of Jannah with the Prophets, martyrs and righteous, For none exceeds You in Your generocity, O Lord of Kindness! And send Your peace and blessings upon he who You have sent to guide us, To make us of the pious, and bring us out of the blindness All praise is due to You, Lord of the Heavens, the Earth, and all that is between. The Devils Deception of Global Peace & Unity The disastrous Global Peace and Unity conference is upon us once again, as if last year was not enough we have to tolerate such nonsense all over again. This conference is making a mockery of Islam and is an insult to our deen. It openly promotes kufr and haraam without any shame under the banner or peace and unity. It claims to be a conference for Muslims yet it is far off from being an Islamic conference. The very basic principles of free mixing, music and Islamic etiquettes are violated with many of the speakers talking nonsense. They openly promote haram and declare kufr on the platform like calling people to join the police and to partake in governmental politics. As if this was not enough they then have what can only be described as a music conference with the audience clapping and whistling with the women also cheering and screaming. The most surprising thing is that the panel of speakers supposedly consists of respectable Islamic scholars yet they remain silent and continue to partake in this event amidst all the evil that it involves. How dare this conference be called Islamic when it clearly goes against the very basic principles of Islam, this is a clear mockery of our deen, making the haram halal and justifying it under the name peace and unity. It is like the person who sells alcohol in order to raise money to build a mosque or a woman who prostitutes herself so she can raise money for the poor, the actions of such people cannot and will never become justified because of the intention behind them. The intention of a person is irrelevant if the actions do not match it and are haram. But this conference goes one step further by not only committing haram but then calling it Islamic and trying to justify it in order to fool the masses, this is no less than zandaqa (heresy). Furthermore it is forbidden for Muslims to sit and listen to kuffar speak and preach their evil and wretched way of life, the very people who deny belief in Allah (swt) and most probably curse our Prophet Muhammad (saw) are given a platform to propagate their filth, all under the name of unity. What sort of unity is this, do you want to unite with the kuffar? This event is sponsored by the Metropolitan Police the very police force that is responsible for arresting and imprisoning hundreds of our Muslims brothers and sisters, and for the shooting of an innocent Muslim. How can we lend support to such an event and thus to the very police force that is engaged in attack Muslims? Our advice to all the sincere Muslims is to stay well away from this conference and such activities. This event is a guise for committing haram and will bring no benefit to the people whatsoever. Global peace and unity cannot be achieved by such impotent and superficial conferences where the ignorant speak in order to entertain the people, rather the only basis for Muslims to unite upon is the Islamic Aqeedah and upon the Shariah which involves following the Shariah in the first place! The organisers and participants of this conference need to fear Allah (swt) and to remember that there will come a day when they will stand before Allah and will have to account for everything that they did in this life. How will you justify yourself on that day? Peace and unity can never be achieved by doing haram and compromising our deen, rather this will only bring the anger and curse of Allah (swt) upon us.
