Make sure to check the end of the video for the english translation read by 4 year old students!
This is a video taken at the 2008 Sunflower Montessori Graduation Ceremony. The 3 and 4 year old students memorized all 99 names of Allah SWTA and were able to recite it in front of an audience including parents and friends! MashaAllah.
The Prophet (S) is reported to have said, Indeed, Allah has 99 names (one hundred minus one); whoever memorizes them will enter Paradise. [Bukhari and Muslim]. Ibn Al-Qayyim (RA) said, Knowledge of the Most Beautiful Names of Allah is the basis of all other kinds of knowledge, for the objects of all these other branches of knowledge were either created or commanded by Him. MashaAllah, at the young age of 3 and 4, these students have already learned the 99 names, and are on their way to understanding them InshaAllah. If they can do it, so can we InshaAllah!
