While the world harps over so-called radical verses in the Quran, why does the Bible get a free-pass? we have heard this question answered many times this way, no one takes the Bible literally. Wrong! You have a Rabbi in America, a Professor, who takes it quite literally. What about all those extremist Jewish settlers in Palestine, what are they taught in school? Why havent we put their books and literature up for public scrutiny, as the jihad-hunters spend day and night going through Islamic literature? Where is UKs Channel 4s hit-job on extremist Jewish literature talking about the greater Israel?

من جهة أخرى قتل فلسطيني وضابط حرس حدود مصري على الحدود بين رفح المصرية ورفح الفلسطينية جنوب قطاع غزة، وذلك في تبادل لإطلاق النار بين حرس الحدود المصريين وفلسطينيين حاولوا اقتحام نقاط الحدود بعد قصف الطائرات الاسرائيلية لعدد من الانفاق على الحدود المشتركة بين الجانبين. في هذه الاثناء نقلت مجموعة من سيارات الاسعاف مساعدات طبية من الجانب المصري من معبر رفح الى الجانب الفلسطيني مقدمة من الهلال الاحمر المصري.

واصل الطيران الحربي الإسرائيلي والزوارق المقاتلة قصف مناطق متفرقة من قطاع غزة شملت منازل ومواقع أمنية ومسجدين ومرفأ للصيادين، واستشهد في جباليا خمسة فلسطينيين هم أم وبناتها الأربع وجميعهن دون سن العاشرة، كما قُصفت الجامعة الإسلامية في غزة ودُمرمقر قصر الحاكم الذي تـُجري فيه الحكومة المقالة استقبالاتها الرسمية. وأصيب طفلان في رفح جنوباً إثر قصف منزل قيادي بكتائب القسّام، ويرتفع بذلك عدد الشهداء إلى ثلاثمئة وواحد بينما تجاوز عدد الجرحى الثمانمئة.

Israeli jets are again bombing targets in the Gaza Strip. The air assault is now into a third day. Warships have also been involved in the attacks, shelling the area around Gaza_s port.
The death toll in Gaza has risen to 318. A UN agency says at least 51 of those victims were civilians.
Despite the onslaught, the Palestinian resistance continues. Rockets fired from Gaza have killed one person and injured seven in the city of Ashkelon.

A day after rejecting a truce offered by Hamas, Israel has carried out two airstrikes on Gaza.
A 14-year-old girl - said to be the daughter of a Hamas leader - was also killed during an Israeli incursion into the town of Beit Lahiya. At least eight others were wounded.

For a second day, Israeli aircraft have pounded what they say are Hamas targets in Gaza. The death toll has risen to at least 280, among them women and children.
Hamas has vowed not to cave in, but Israel_s operation could soon escalate. Tanks have massed at the Gazan border, and Ehud Olmert office says military reservists are being mobilised.
The UN Security Council has demanded an immediate end to the violence, and Egypt is trying to broker a ceasefire. But the airs raids are continuing, as Clayton Swisher reports.

Well even as the death toll in Gaza rises, US support for Israel_s actions has not waivered.
Since the bombings began the US has backed Israel to do whatever it takes to keep Israeli civilian casualties to a minimum.

Gazan civilians are being sent to hospitals which are working on a makeshift basis due to poor medical supplies amid the Israeli siege on the territory. Services are struggling to cope. Al Jazeera_s Ayman Mohyeldin reports.
