EMBRACING ISLAM - A HISPANIC AMERICAN STORY
While studying Islam for three years, Victoria read and spoke to those around her who were Muslim via in person or on the internet. But half way through those years were questions outside of text book readings, something more was happening to her that lead her question other aspects of the religion. She wondered what was happening to her as she slept because she was beginning to receive dreams from Allah (swt) and realized that she was being lead to something far greater than what she knew. Shortly after reverting, Victoria made a personal vlog on how she felt about embracing Islam and the differences into this new religion, but also about the fears she had when the time came to tell her mother. 10 months after a Hispanic Americans reversion, she shows what her feelings were like back in Jan. 07. Note: Ive heard the term muslima and muslamina. I use the term muslima, but if that is wrong, please forgive me |
